The status is : everything in native now for everything. BSZili currently works on i386-aros version, and have good progress (through, he not commit all the stuff to repo, he want before make all works , then small commit by commit). He also fix our bugs as well : he make ftp.module works on native, get rid of all alignments, make normal macroses for those 68k-hook-strucures which in use in themes.module and ftp.module and so on. I.e. help a lot with non-related to aros problems.
I also ported all the modules to the GCC, and now there is everything clean in repo : no old modules directories, no crap, just one single Modules directory and in it all the whole modules. In last 2-3 months i assume we fix all the problems with modules (well, almost, i will told about last ones at bottom of post).
Xenic fix bunch of errors step by step in the code as well, so its now all should be more or less robust. Also he make all makefiles works pretty fine. For example there is now "root" makefile, you can just type "make mos modules" and it will compile all modules for you. Or "make mos library" , or "make mos program". Or just "make mos clean" to clean everything. + in all the directories of course our old usual makefiles still there (bszili also clean up them a bit few days ago).
SBA joined to project, but he not "in" a bit, because when i start to explain him what problems we have, problem already fixed (because reply from to can take more than one day, while we with BsZili works on all of this every hour). So let's say i write him "already fixed" after that, and he feels that it was strange why i ask for help, if it already done and works
I.e. different timing
Also he need to make all the builds localy and do tests of course, but when i offer ready to use builds of dopus5 to tests, he not answer
So he keep a eye on for sure, and fix some small moments already. But i assume he not have so much time as i with BsZili now for project, so he may or may not helps us. While its anyway good to have him interested in
Another good news is that we with BSZili found an author of xadopus.module (one of the necessary 68k 3d party modules back in the past, i assume none of the others was so popular or interesting). And with his help and one of my russian friend Amis we have no in repo (in Modules) sources of xadopus.module (that one i didn't port to GCC because i only get them yesterday, so that TODO).
